We are manufacturers of both direct thermal and thermal transfer labels. These are usually produced on rolls but can be supplied on fanfolds. All of our labels are designed to give a crisp image and trouble free printing in your thermal printer. A stock range of thermal labels on rolls is available, suitable for both desktop and industrial thermal printers (see links below).
We can manufacture to order in a vast range of sizes (we have over 1,000 cutters available). The labels can be pre-printed or colour washed and are available with different adhesives, such as permanent, removable, deep freeze etc. We always check the make and model of printer you are using to ensure your labels are produced on the correct core size and with the correct number of labels on the roll.
Our direct thermal labels are made on a standard direct thermal paper. However we can supply ‘top coated’ direct thermal material which offers a protective coating, making the label more resistant to fading in sunlight and gives some protection against grease and solvents.
Our thermal transfer labels are supplied on a good quality matt vellum. However semi-gloss paper is also available. Other options include the following synthetic materials for a durable weatherproof label, resistant to oils and chemicals.
Polypropylene - Resistant to water oil and chemicals
Polyethylene - Resistant to water, oil and chemicals but also flexible so suitable on items such as squeegee type bottles or products likely to expand and contract in heat.
Polyester - Very durable and resistant to chemicals, water and oil. Often used on chemical drums.
As well as thermal transfer labels we can also supply the thermal transfer ribbons to go with them.
